Despite being four Americans with a limited understanding of the French language, we were warmly greeted and made you feel at home. Following an opening salvo of Kir, we had the good fortune to order the Plancha De Empanadas and we’re coached on the order in which to sample them. One featured a delightful marriage of corn and mace. Another meat and coriander- based pastry exploded with heat when paired with our Coleccion Santa Julia Shiraz-Malbec.
